I had a good time at the Pyramid Club on Friday night! There was a Madonnathon for Halloween. I met a few fans I had already met at Madonnasworld.com's Madonnathon last May. I was dressed as a chic Material Girl. What were you for Halloween?

It's high time I start posting again! A lot has been happening over the past two months. I've been at Macy's for Material Girl Collection's first birthday. I was thrilled to learn Lola and Kelly would be present and sign autographs! In order to get a pass, you had to be in the first 100 people to buy for $75 of Material Girl clothes. Any excuse I'm given to buy MG clothes is most welcome! I showed up early at Macy's, it wasn't open yet when I arrived so I got kicked out (I thought it opened at 9!). There really wasn't anyone for the Material Girl birthday event. I was the very first one to get a pass that day. Here's a photo of the V.I.P. bracelet I got: ![]() A photo of Lola I took that night I then waited the whole day for the event. In the evening, around 6pm if I remember well, I started lining up on the 4th floor with a few other Madonna fans. We heard that only 12 to 14 passes had sold. By the end of the evening, a bit more had sold, but the 100 passes never sold out. Before us the stage was already set up. There were 2 catwalks with chairs all around them. A few seats had "reserved" signs on them. Little by little people started arriving, taking their reserved seats. After a while they finally let us in but told us we hadn't been lining at the right place! So those who were last in line became first - I hate when this happens. Luckily for me and my friend fans let us go first because they knew we had been first in line. The seats we wanted were not taken so we got really good seats. Later on when Lola and Kelly arrived, they were seating right before us. I knew I shouldn't spend my time directing my camera to Lola but this was just a chance I couldn't let go. She looked absolutely gorgeous and so much like her mom. She has the same facial expressions and looks than her. I couldn't tell if she was nervous or just bored. To me she seemed a bit cold with people. It was her first public appearance without Madonna. For once the event was all about her. So it might have been a bit stressful. She handled the talking and all the crazy photographers very well. She had obviously been very well trained. She was quiet. Kelly was doing most of the talking. They both commented on the looks models were wearing as they were walking the catwalks. But really, who was looking at the models? I'm not sure about others but I for one didn't take my eyes off Lola. I had this weird impression I was seeing the young girl Madonna was some 40 years ago. ![]() My autograph from Lola and Kelly Osbourne Guy Oseary, Liz Rosenberg and Carlos Leon were present. Madonna didn't show up but I heard she was backstage. After the fashion show, those who had VIP tickets were asked to line up to get their autograph. The signing lasted about 15 seconds per person. Kelly shook my hand, Lola didn't shake anyone's hand, and I barely had the time to tell Lola "I love your style" while she was saying the same thing to me! Then I gave her a little present which she accepted, looking quite surprised, and then I was pulled out by Macy's staff. Everything happened so fast! I had been told by Macy's staff earlier in the day that each VIP ticket holder would have their picture taken with Lola and Kelly, but what really happened is that after the signing, each fan had their picture taken with a Material Girl background, but alone. No photo with the girls. After our photo was printed, it was given to us along with a Material Girl birthday Tote in which there was a small box containing a cupcake. That was it. Shortly after I received my Material Girl tote, Lola and Kelly left. It was a night to remember as it was Lola's first public signing, and I am glad I was present at her first public event. I will definitely keep on supporting her. Madonna did a really good job with Lola, she can be proud of herself. I'm looking forward to more Material Girl events!
