 Photo by Guy Oseary/AP Photo Madonna performed a showcase in Paris' legendary show room, L'Olympia last Thursday, July 26. She put on one of her greatest shows, sang from the heart, and even learned a whole song in French for her audience, "Je t'aime, moi non plus" by Serge Gainsbourg.
She paid tribute to French artists that inspired her and in a 13-minute long speech, asked her fans to remember and understand how tolerant their country used to be. Thanks to France's past tolerance, creativity flourished and artists from all around the world were given the freedom to express themselves. Madonna appeared genuinely happy to perform this show. It was so good that fans wanted more, more, more. It was a rare occasion to see her from up close.
