I attended the first US show last night of the MDNA tour and had an amazing time! Despite the terrible heat in the afternoon, fans showed up pretty early to line up outside the venue. Once in the pit we waited three hours before the show started, and it was pretty intense. No water was allowed in the pit. We were told it's Madonna's management request.
The show was impressive, as always I lack words to describe a Madonna show! She didn't interact much with the audience but we had a great time anyway. The crowd booed her because she started at 10:30 instead of 10:00... so of course why would she be excited to perform for a lame crowd like that? She even apologized later in the show and explained why she started late, which was a justification she didn't have to give. The Philly crowd wasn't the best but a great deal of pit people were from New York and gave our Queen the love she deserves! For those who patiently waited to see the show live and stayed away from spoilers since May, the show blew their minds.
Can't wait to see it again in New York next week!
